Scripture: Luke 1:46-55
- Who is God to Mary?
- She recognised Him as Lord
- She willingly surrenders herself to Him as a servant.
- She recognised Him as Saviour
- She would recognise her need for a saviour and willingly carry the Son of God in her womb and care for Him
- Not only would she be saved by faith, but she would be an important part of the rescue mission.
- What has God done for Mary?
- He saw her, knew her, and interacted with her
- He chose her to proclaim the praises of the one who called her to salvation and to service
- He changed the way that others would see her
- He made His mercy available to her through the Son of God
- What has God done for others?
- Israel
- All of the descendants of Abraham
- What has God done for you?
